Thank You Note From Peter Cahill
Fellow Codgers, On behalf of our foundation at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), I want to thank all of you who participated in the Codger Home Run Derby and/or made donations through the event for our charity. As a result of your generosity, we raised $1755, plus the $2375 raised through my website due to this event, for a grand total of $4130. Your involvement in the Andrea Cahill Foundation helps us chase our most fervent dream, the eradication of the disease NF2. The monies we raise not only provide the researchers with the tools they need to work toward that cure, but also support Dr. Scott Plotkin's clinic at MGH and his dual goal of enhancing the quality of life for those fighting this awful disease. We've seen first-hand what MGH and can do - the progress they've made over the last 40 years since we've been involved has been amazing. I'm hoping/praying for even more in the future. If you meant to make a donation, but never got around to it, the website for the Foundation is: https://because.massgeneral.org/acahillMy special thanks goes out to Jeff Stouffer for his passion and determination to continue the Home Run Derby and make it a success, Scott for all his support and leadership, and the Codger Board for providing us the opportunity to be the focus of this year’s event.
With Gratitude, Peter CahillFalmouth Toyota
