2026 ByLaws Vote

We are now at 18 teams (ten D2 teams and eight D1 teams) and over 260 members strong. Our current Bylaws are no longer structured to e ectively govern a league of our size.

In January, your Board charged the Bylaw Committee, consisting of three Board members, four at-large members of the league, and a consultant, to draft new Bylaws which would more e ectively address league governance and the administration of the league activities. The Bylaw Committee reviewed countless senior softball bylaws, had multiple meetings to discuss the new Bylaws. Many drafts were generated and a final draft was presented to the Board for its review and comments. Further revisions and versions of the Bylaws were generated, discussed, and modified by the Board.

The Amendment to our Bylaws is the result of this effort. It completely restructures the governance and administration of the league.

The Board believes that these new Bylaws will improve the governance and administration of the league now and into the future. At our Annual Meeting, the Board will be requesting your vote to approve these new Bylaws. You can vote below or at the meeting.

The date of our Annual Meeting is Thursday, October 1 at 6:00 PM. It will be held at the Falmouth Elks Lodge at 140 Palmer Avenue, Falmouth MA.
